1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Catedral ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.
2. Description of Service
Catedral is infrastructure management software that allows users to deploy and manage applications on their own servers. The Software is provided "as is" and runs entirely on infrastructure owned or controlled by the user.
3. License Tiers
Free Tier: Limited to 3 applications per server. No payment required.
Pro Tier: Unlimited applications. Requires active subscription.
Enterprise Tier: Custom licensing terms. Contact us for details.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your servers and infrastructure
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws in your jurisdiction
- Backing up your data and configurations
- Properly configuring and securing deployed applications
- Keeping your license key confidential
5. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Catedral to:
- Deploy malicious software or conduct cyberattacks
- Distribute illegal content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent licensing restrictions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Share, sell, or transfer your license key to others
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, secure, or available at all times. You acknowledge that the Software is installed on and runs on your own infrastructure, and we have no control over or responsibility for your servers, network, or environment.
7. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL CATEDRAL, ITS CREATORS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR LOSS OF PROFITS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
8. Third-Party Applications
Catedral enables deployment of third-party applications (such as Komodo, Uptrace, n8n, etc.). These applications are governed by their own licenses and terms. We are not responsible for the functionality, security, or compliance of third-party applications deployed through Catedral.
9. Subscription and Payments
For paid tiers, subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
If payment fails or subscription is cancelled, your license will revert to Free tier limits after a grace period of 14 days.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and delete all copies in your possession.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Software. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Catedral operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
